A mix of classic lighting and processing with a modern twist. I am thrilled with the way the light works here with Malea’s ink. The texture and shading really pops on her shoulder without taking away from her face and expression.
Look at all that ‘tude coming from this dude. Actor, dancer, and model Bradley Fuller’s the real deal. It was awesome getting to work with him during the Santa Fe Photo Photographic Workshops earlier this year.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Derrick couldn’t have a more “textbook” professional headshot look going here. Great engagement and that perfect amount of smile that I’m always trying to get. I think he made this one pretty easy on me. Thanks, Derrick!
Let this image be a warning (or invitation) to those of you who might ask me to shoot your family photos. Surprisingly these guys asked me to shoot them again a few years later 🙂
This lovely model was working with some of my fellow workshop participants in the same building at Eaves Movie Ranch. As we were passing by to move to our next setup I stopped to grab a few shots myself. The light and the mood were just amazing. Talk about being in the right place at the right time 🙂
This capture of Rachel is another example of a “One and Done!”. This was the first shot we took together in this session and she nailed it right out of the gate. Of course we kept going but I wasn’t surprised when looking back through the finals that number one ended up being #1.
