Keepin’ and eye out for those Martian Spiders. They always seem to be running late (probably cause they’re voodoo).
Dustin is just one of the many fantastic models that volunteered their time at the Midsouth Photo Expo this past weekend. While I did get Dustin in during my headshot workshop, the models also moved to different setups on the expo floor to allow attendees to try out different lighting systems. Always fun for me to get a chance to shoot “outside of my box” and Dustin was killing it here at the NanLite USA booth.
Reaching back into the 90’s with this shot of local actor Charles Green. He and I spent an afternoon shooting for our portfolios (his for acting, mine for my photography) with this shot being my favorite from that day. Charles had a lot of energy and a great sense of humor which worked perfectly in this shot of him in front of the Super Pac-Man machine behind him in the store window.
I lost touch with Charles not long after. We only had this one shoot together but I’ve always loved the whimsy present in this shot. Thanks for being a bright spot in my body of work, Charles, wherever you are these days.

Family photos!? Not my usual thing but I always love to shoot with these guys! Not only are they great to work with but their sessions are so easy as the camera simply loves each and every one of them.
Local artist Nancy Hilgert from a shoot we did several years ago. This amazing woman is lovely inside and out and I’m very fortunate to have her as a friend (and model!).
Heading into the weekend with this headshot of Marianna. Can’t think of a better way to close out the week than with this great smile and those brilliant eyes. Great job in front of the camera, Marianna!
